Privacy
This site is a static archive. It is built to work without collecting anything about you, and this page says exactly where the exceptions are.
What we collect on the site
Nothing you type, because there is nothing to type into: no contact form, no newsletter
signup, no account, no comments, no search box that reaches us. The only thing the site writes
is the single localStorage value described in cookies,
which stays in your browser.
Server logs
Our web server keeps the usual access log: the requested address, the time, the response code, the referring page and the browser string, together with the IP address the request came from. It is kept to run and secure the site and is not used to build a profile or joined to anything else. It is held in the ordinary rotation of server logs and then discarded.
Email you send us
If you write to %(mail)s, we hold the message for as long as it takes to answer it and to keep a record of any correction we published as a result. We do not add the address to a mailing list. Ask us to delete the message and we will.
Third parties
No analytics provider, no advertising network, no CDN and no embedded social widget. Pages load fonts already installed on your device rather than from a font service. Outgoing links to operators, some of which are affiliate links, hand you over to that operator's own site, where their policy applies and ours stops.
Your rights
Because we hold no account data, most requests resolve to the two items above: the log entry your visit created and any email you sent us. Write to %(mail)s and we will deal with it.
Editor and contact for data questions: %(editor)s, %(mail)s.
